Dynamics and Physics of Bodies of the Solar System Russian The albedo distributions for observed family asteroids and numerical calculations are indicative of the possibility of existence of some non-gravitational mechanism in the Solar system, which causes a spatial separation of clear and dark asteroids. The speed of the separation for main belt asteroids with sizes from 10 to 50 km may be about 1 AU per 108 years in order of magnitude.
