The account of Poynting-Robertson's effect on short intervals of meteor orbit evolutions

Abstract: 

We analysed Robertson's equation describing influence of solar radiation on heliocentric orbit evolution of a particle. A qualitative analysis and numerical integration of meteor orbit evolutions showed that, besides well-known and investigated secular changes of semi-major axis and eccentricities of orbits, appreciable short-periodic changes of these elements occurred. These changes should be taken into account for exact calculations of meteor body orbits on short time intervals (some orbital periods).
