Abstract:

Using a Microtek ScanMaker 9800XL TMA scanner, 102 plates for the 60°-declination zone of the northern sky are scanned. The plates are obtained with the Double Wide-Field Telescope of the Main Astronomical Observatory of Ukraine within the framework of the FON observational program. We describe the processing procedure used for digital images and the compilation of the catalogue of positions and B-band photometry for 1 108 603 stars. The mean-square positional and photometric errors for declinations from 56° to 64° and for right ascensions from 0 to 24h depend mainly on star positions on a plate, the overlap ratio and stellar magnitude. The standard deviations change from 0.10” to 0.32” for positions and from 0.04m to 0.16m for stellar magnitudes. The mean values of the mean-square deviations of our catalogue data from the PPMX and UCAC catalogue data are 0.23” and 0.18m for positions and stellar magnitudes, respectively.
