Ми представляємо результати спостережень факельної ділянки поблизу центра сонячного диску, які були проведені на німецькому вакуумному баштовому телескопі Обсерваторії дель Тейда (Тенерифе), використовуючи два інструменти: TESOS в лінії Ва II λ 455.4 нм для вимірювання варіацій інтенсивності в фотосфері та, одночасно, TIP в Fe I (λλ564.3 — 1565.8 нм) для реєстрації параметрів Стокса. Використовуючи фур’є-фільтрацію, ми розділили конвективну та хвильову складові поля інтенсивності. За допомогою інверсного SIR-кода з параметрів Стокса ми отримали напруженість магнітного поля. Ми знайшли, що контраст факельних міжгранул в континуумі майже не залежить від напруженості магнітного поля (в диапазоні від 30 до 160 мТл). Цей результат ставить під сумнів твердження, що сонячні факели — скупчення магнітних трубок. Скоріш за все, через зменшення прозорості речовини в присутності сильного кГс магнітного поля, ми спостерігаємо гарячі стінки гранул.
