Abstract:

Within the framework of Ukrainian Virtual Observatory the CoLiTec software for the automated search of small celestial objects of the Solar System on a series of CCD frames was developed. With its use four comets, more than a thousand asteroids have been previously discovered and about seven hundred thousand CCD-positional measurements have been sent to the Minor Planet Center. This paper analyzes the positional accuracy of CCD measurements with the CoLiTec software according to Minor Planet Center data, as well as we provide a comparative analysis of the results of the processing of the same CCD frames by the CoLiTec and «Astrometrica» softwares. We conclude that «Astrometrica» software have a standard deviation of 30—50 % more than the CoLiTec software at the low signal-to-noise ratio of the position CCD-measurements.
